Why is it that man has a need for material things?
What is it that makes man thirst for technology?
How is it that over the last one hundred years, we have gone from sending a message by wire to sending one in thin air?
These are just a couple questions floating around.

I think about the same thing I have a husband and I feel like we have to keep up with the Jones, you know what I mean! I can't wait to read your assg. Let me know if you need help.
Your first question is really interesting to me. I think there are both advantages and disadvantages to wanting material things. Sometimes, attempting to get material things can be motivation for hard work. On the other hand, it makes people care only about possessions and less about family, and life.
